You asked, here's the truth!
Everything you want to know about Arthur, the campaign, Money is a Defence and how you can be part of it.
How long has Arthur lived in Milton?
Over a decade. Arthur grew up in Milton, attended Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School, coached youth soccer at Milton Magic. He has been building businesses and organizing in this community ever since. Milton is his home.
What is A1 Visuals?
A1 Visuals is a media company Arthur founded in 2015 while still at Bishop Reding. It started by creating exposure for elite Canadian athletes right here in Milton, and grew into a provider of media solutions for leading athletic organizations across Canada.
What is Youth in Diaspora?
Youth in Diaspora is an educational nonprofit Arthur founded in 2018. It gives underprivileged children access to quality education and creates meaningful employment for young people as their teachers. Arthur didn't wait for someone else to solve the problem, instead he built the solution.
What is Arthur's role with the United Nations?
Arthur has served as a Youth Advisor for the United Nations at CCUNESCO — the Canadian Commission for UNESCO (The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization). He has also been recognized among Canada's Most Influential Young Black Canadians.
Why is Arthur running for Ward 2 Councillor?
Because Milton is his home and he feels a responsibility to it. Arthur grew up in Milton, attended Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School and has lived in Ward 2's Dempsey neighbourhood for over a decade. When his family chose Milton, they were betting on a town that felt like the best of Canada - diverse, safe, and full of possibility. That bet paid off and now he wants to help it pay off for every family who comes next.
But Milton is growing faster than almost anywhere else, and Ward 2 is feeling it. Buses that come too rarely. Roads that didn't grow with us. Rising costs. Kids waiting on parks and programs they need now. Arthur has watched these pressures build from his street, not from a podium, and he believes Ward 2 deserves a councillor who is present year-round, not just at election time.
He's not running for a title. With a background spanning B2B technology, founding Youth in Diaspora, advising the United Nations at CCUNESCO, and being recognized among Canada's Most Influential Young Black Canadians, Arthur brings executive execution and deep community care home to Milton. Running for council is the next step in a lifetime of service: listen, advocate, vote responsibly, and fight for Ward 2 in every budget.
When is the election?
Milton's municipal election is on October 26, 2026. Advance polls and mail-in voting will be available closer to the date. Sign up on the Connect section of the homepage to get reminders about voting dates and locations.
How do I know if I'm in Ward 2?
Ward 2 covers a large section of Milton. The best way to confirm is to check the Town of Milton's ward boundary map. Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School is in Ward 2. If you're unsure, send us a message and we'll help you figure it out.
What can a town councillor actually do?
A lot! And Arthur is clear-eyed about what that is. A councillor votes on the town budget, zoning and development applications, service levels, and local bylaws. They advocate in budget deliberations for Ward 2 priorities, request staff reports on issues, bring resident concerns forward at council, and hold public office hours. They can't direct staff individually or override regional decisions, however they can be relentless about putting Ward 2 on the agenda every single meeting.
What are Arthur's priorities for Ward 2?
Arthur's Listening Tour surfaced five priorities, which he organized into the A STAR framework: Affordability, plus Safety, Transit, Amenities and Responsibility.
Rather than writing a rigid platform behind closed doors, Arthur built the framework from what Ward 2 residents actually told him at the door — and each priority comes with an honest account of what a councillor can really do about it. You can read the full STAR framework, and he's still listening.
