Why I'm Running

I’ve lived in Ward 2 for over a decade, and the Milton I moved to is straining. I’m running for Town Council because Ward 2 is bearing more of that cost than any other ward, and I know what a councillor can actually do about it.

Like many of you, my family chose Milton for what it promised: safe neighbourhoods, strong schools, room to build a life. That bet paid off for us. I went to Bishop Reding, coached kids at Milton Magic, and built A1 Visuals and Youth in Diaspora out of Dempsey. Most recently I served as a Youth Advisor at the Canadian Commission for UNESCO.

But Milton is straining. Rents are up. Traffic is up. Our kids wait years for the parks, programs and recreation facilities other wards had a decade ago. That has to change, and Ward 2 deserves a councillor who shows up year-round, not just during election season.

I believe local government should be accessible, transparent, and deeply accountable.

You deserve a representative who lives in Ward 2, has a real record of service, and remembers that every policy choice affects real families. That person is me.

I’ll promise only what a councillor can deliver.

A councillor’s job is to listen, advocate, vote responsibly, and fight for Ward 2 in every budget, pushing hard within real limits, not performing miracles. I’ll do exactly that. Leadership is who you are and what you represent, not a position given to you. I’m here to serve, not to hold a title.

That’s why I organized my platform around five things you can hold me to. A STAR: Affordability, Safety, Transit, Amenities, and Responsibility.

This is why I am running to be your next Town Councillor.

For all of Ward 2: our youth, seniors, homeowners, longtime residents, newcomers and renters. Every voice heard. Every neighbourhood at the table. No one left behind.

I’m running to build A Better Milton that works for everyone, today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.
