A Letter to Ward 2
Dear Neighbour,
Like many of you, my family chose Milton for its promise of safe neighbourhoods, strong schools, a vibrant community and room to build a life in a welcoming environment. I went to Bishop Reding for high school, coached at Milton Magic, and served as a Youth Advisor at the United Nations. After more than a decade living here in Ward 2, in the Dempsey neighbourhood, I want to help keep that promise for every young person, newcomer and family that comes next.
However, as Milton grows, we're all feeling the strain. Rising costs, increased traffic congestion and kids waiting on the parks, programs and recreational facilities they need ASAP. That changes NOW.
You deserve a councillor who lives in Ward 2, has a track record of service, delivers results, listens and is present in our neighbourhoods year-round, not just at election time.
I believe local government should be accessible, transparent, and deeply accountable.
I'll listen, advocate, vote responsibly and fight for Ward 2 in every budget. I'm offering myself for service because I have the ability to solve problems, the capacity to execute, and the competence to deliver. I believe in the John C. Maxwell School of Leadership; that leadership is who you are and what you represent, not a position given to you. I'm here to serve and fight for your voice to be heard.
That is why I'm offering myself to serve as your next Town Councillor.
I’m running to serve all of Ward 2. That includes our youth, seniors, homeowners, longtime residents, newcomers and renters.
As Ward 2 residents, we're tired of waiting for change and fed up with the status quo. I'm here for the next chapter of our ward, where every voice is heard, every neighbourhood has a seat at the table and every group is carried along so no one is left behind.
I'm running to build A Better Milton that works for everyone today, tomorrow and for generations to come.
