What Guides Me

My values.

The way I lead, serve, and build community is grounded in six values. They aren't a record I've perfected, they're principles I strive to live by. They shape how I show up, how I make decisions and how I'll advocate for your family on Milton Town Council.

Authentic I'll be honest and say where I stand.

Trust begins with honesty. People deserve to know exactly who they're working with and that only happens when you bring your whole self and stay the same person in every room.

On Council No political double-speak. I'll be clear and direct about Ward 2's challenges and trade-offs, explain the reasoning behind my votes and stay accessible so you always know where I stand and why.

Resilient I'll stay steady and keep solving

Every worthwhile journey includes obstacles. Real progress comes from adapting, persevering and continuing with purpose when the path gets hard.

On Council Milton is managing rapid growth, traffic and strained infrastructure — none of it fixed overnight. I'll stay steady through tough debates and keep pushing, with data, until Ward 2 gets the resources it deserves.

Loving Treat every resident with dignity and care.

Every person has inherent worth and deserves dignity, care and respect. Love isn't only a feeling, it's a choice reflected in how we treat one another.

On Council I'll champion the people growth can leave behind by protecting seniors, supporting youth and making sure that as Milton expands, nobody in our community is forgotten.

Kind I'll lead with empathy and bring civility.

Kindness isn't weakness, it's my quiet strength. How we treat people matters most when there's nothing to gain in return.

On Council I'll listen first, especially to residents who are frustrated, work across the table to break through gridlock and treat every neighbour and colleague with respect. I want to bring civil, good-faith discourse back to local politics.

Service I believe that power belongs to you.

Leadership is about contribution, not recognition. Our greatest impact comes from helping others grow and succeed.

On Council I'll use my time, skills, and experience to make town hall work for the people and measure success by the tangible improvements we make to your streets, your parks and your daily life.

Integrity Keep my word, even when it's hard.

Trust is earned through consistent action and broken by empty promises. Character shows in what we do when no one is watching.

On Council I'll keep my commitments, push for transparent decisions and financial accountability and do what's right for Milton's families even when it's difficult or unpopular. If I give you my word, I'll keep it.
